Recent History

1954: Current company started by Silvio Bonomi making parts for agriculture.

1974: Moved to current location in its own building of 5000m².

1978: New investments in equipment specific for ball valves.

1981: Production exceeded 1.000.000 ball valves / year.

1991: New building/warehouse added to total of 9000m².

1995: RuB, Inc. started as wholly own subsidiary in North America.

1995: ISO 9002 status granted by Lloyd’s Register.

1998: ISO 9001 status granted by Lloyd’s Register.

2001: 10.000.000 valves / year.

2001: Second addition: new area for shipping and packaging to a total of 14000m².

2005: Third addition and production reorganization to improve flow of materials in the plant.

2006: Fourth plant addition

2007: RuB KK started as wholly owned subsidiary in Japan

2009: SAP implementation as ERP managing administration, logistics and planning.
